Critics online are now poking fun at Donald Trump’s “amped up” response to the latest turn of events regarding the Russia investigation.
This past Monday, GOP lawmakers on the House Intelligence Committee announced that they had found no evidence of collusion between Trump’s campaign and Russian efforts to meddle in the 2016 election.
The GOP panel also suggested that while Russian intelligence clearly meddled in the election, they didn’t do so to directly assist Trump a finding that opposes the findings of several other U.S. intelligence agencies.
Trump celebrated the news with a tweet, which he wrote in all caps.
“THE HOUSE INTELLIGENCE COMMITTEE HAS, AFTER A 14 MONTH LONG IN-DEPTH INVESTIGATION, FOUND NO EVIDENCE OF COLLUSION OR COORDINATION BETWEEN THE TRUMP CAMPAIGN AND RUSSIA TO INFLUENCE THE 2016 PRESIDENTIAL ELECTION,” Trump declared.

This spastic act did not sit well with others on Twitter, who immediately called Trump on his lack of internet etiquette. The use of all-caps when sharing online is often interpreted as yelling.

Representative Mike Conaway, who is currently spearheading the Moscow hacking probe, declared on Monday that the committee would no longer be interviewing witnesses and was beginning the process of preparing its final report.
“We found no evidence of collusion,” Conaway announced to reporters on Monday. “We found perhaps some bad judgment, inappropriate meetings, inappropriate judgment in taking meetings — but only Tom Clancy could take this series of inadvertent contacts, meetings, whatever, and weave that into some sort of a spy thriller that could go out there.”
